Holocaust in the Homeland stirred my soul.

I had no idea that such a horrible riot occurred in Tulsa in 1921, destroying the lives of 10,000 African American residents who had struggled to build the town of Greenwood. Many lost their lives and most all lost their homes and assets. Media hype and jealousy! Sound familiar? Corinda Marsh Pitts used the voice of a fictional character to tell the historical accounting of the event. My heart hurts thinking of the horrible injustice. You won't be disappointed in this book.

A MUST READ book! The terrible events, detailed and documented by the author, are reminders that jealousy, distrust, and fear become fuel for fires of destruction fanned by greed, opportunism and ignorance. Every page pulls the reader to the next as one witnesses the negative manipulations and media hype pushing for destruction of the community.
